'Hard Times V' Grudge Match Signed for Bryan Idol, Silas Mason
Bryan Idol aims to get retribution on March 22 in Dothan, AL.
Idol faces Silas Mason in a “Grudge Match” when the National Wrestling Alliance returns to the Dothan Civic Center for Hard Times V. It’s the pair’s first clash since “The Thrillbilly” broke his rival’s clavicle.
Filmed the last time the NWA was in Dothan, the most recent episode of NWA Powerrr saw Idol and Mason destroy Idol in a “Falls Count Anywhere Match.” The contest ended abruptly when “The Looks That Kill” was injured.
“I was broken but not beaten!” Idol says of the mishap, which required surgery and sidelined him for nearly two months.
On NWA Powerrr, Silas Mason broke Bryan Idol’s clavicle.
“At Hard Times V, Silas Mason will realize it takes more than a busted collarbone to keep me down!” Idol declares. “In Dothan, I’m going to give him an Alabama ass-kicking!”
“Bryan Idol is like a damn gnat!” Mason counters.
“You can swat at him a hundred times, but he keeps buzzing around,” he continues. “At Hard Times V, ‘Big Daddy Thrill’ will finish what he started two months ago. I’m going to crush that little bug under the boot of ‘The Biggest Man Who Ever Lived.’”
This epic “Grudge Match” is just one of many high-stakes encounters coming to Hard Times V. All National Wrestling Alliance champions are scheduled to appear.

William Patrick “Billy” Corgan will also be on hand. Ticket-holders can meet and take photos with the NWA President and frontman for The Smashing Pumpkins at an additional cost.
