Silas Mason ‘Feels Good’ About Brutalizing Bryan Idol On ‘Powerrr,’ Looks to ‘Hard Times V’

Silas Mason could be unstoppable.

On the Feb. 18 episode of NWA Powerrr, Mason faced Bryan Idol in a “Falls Count Anywhere Match.” The encounter ended quickly with a shocking and unexpected outcome.

“I damn near killed Bryan Idol at Looks That Kill,” the National Wrestling Alliance star brags. “Man, that feels good!”

Filmed in Dothan, AL, the match was a continuation of a rivalry forged months when Mason, Kerry Morton, and NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion Alex Taylor — The Southern Six — assaulted Kyle Davis. Idol stepped in to defend the broadcaster, igniting a feud which both hoped would end at Looks That Kill

Silas Mason looms as rNWA Senior Referee Kevin Keenan checks on a fallen Bryan Idol.

“When Bryan Idol decided to stick his nose in Six business, I told him I was gonna knock it clean off his face,” the former NWA National Champion says.

“I didn’t tell him I was also going to break his damn collarbone when I did it!” Mason continued. “I guess that’s why ‘The Thrillbilly’ is an international man of mystery, Daddy!”

It was a brutal brawl from the start. Within minutes, though, Mason decimated his opponent with a chair shot, incapacitating Idol and forcing referee Kevin Keenan to end the contest.

It has since been revealed Idol broke his clavicle during the clash. The injury required surgery, potentially sidelining “The Looks That Kill” for months. “Big Daddy Thrill,” of course, has a more colorful take on the events.

As referees tend to Bryan Idol, “The Thrillbilly” Silas Mason stands tall.

Bryan Idol was so scared, he broke his own collarbone to keep from fighting me,” Mason says.

“It was the smartest thing Bryan Idol’s ever done,” he gloats. “He knew if that match continued, ‘The Biggest Man Who Ever Lived’ was gonna break his damn neck!”

With Idol out of commission, Mason’s attention quickly turned to championship aspirations. He took to the ring immediately after, closing NWA Powerrr by declaring himself the future of the National Wrestling Alliance and next NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion.

“It’s only a matter of time before ‘The Thrillbilly’ has some gold, baby!” he promises. Mason looks to continue his climb back to contention on March 22, when the NWA returns to Dothan Civic Center for Hard Times V.

Silas Mason is on the way, Dothan, so lock your doors,” he warns.

“When the National Wrestling Alliance brings ‘Big Daddy Thrill’ to town, you know I'm only there for two things,” Mason concludes, “breaking bones and wrecking homes!”
