NWA World Tag Champs BFT, Manager Aron Stevens Sign Long-Term Contracts

Reigning World Tag Team Champions Blunt Force Trauma and manager Aron Stevens have signed long-term, exclusive contracts with the National Wrestling Alliance.

The National Wrestling Alliance has signed Blunt Force Trauma and manager Aron Stevens to long-term contracts. These agreements ensure the World Tag Team Champions and the brains behind their brawn remain exclusive to NWA Powerrr for years to come!

Blunt Force Trauma, with Steven at their side, captured the NWA World Tag Team titles at NWA 75 in 2023. They’ve been a staple of NWA flagship program NWA Powerrr, streaming each Tuesday on The CW, since arriving in late 2023.

“Blunt Force Trauma and Aron Stevens are such key elements of the National Wrestling Alliance,” says NWA Chief Operating Officer Joe Galli.

“As the NWA World Tag Team Champions, they represent the very pinnacle of our outstanding tag team division,” he continues. “Signing contracts with each ensures NWA continues to feature the absolute best wrestling talent in the world today.”

BFT — masked brutes Damage and Carnage — indeed stand atop the NWA’s stacked tag team competition. In 2023, they first advanced to the finals of the Crockett Cup Tournament, defeating La Rebelion for the World Tag Team titles scant months later.

Carson Drake has signed an exclusive NWA contract.

A significant part of their success is attributable to the ever-eccentric Aron Stevens. A former NWA National and World Tag Team champion in his own right, Stevens turned his in-ring prowess to managerial genius soon after retiring. Together the trio of BFT and Stevens have been nearly unstoppable.

Their new contracts promise to extend the partnerships even longer — and are only the latest NWA champions to extend their time with the legendary promotion. NWA Women’s World Tag Team Champions The King Bees — Danni Bee and Charity King — and unified NWA World Television and Women’s Television Champion Max the Impaler also guaranteed their place within the company through new contracts.

These agreements join a flurry of other top names coming to long-term agreements with the NWA in recent weeks. Carson Drake and Alaxander Lev join a growing list of NWA exclusives this week.

The NWA has signed Alexander Lev to a contract.

Drake, a staple in Exodus Pro Wrestling (NWA-Midwest), is a new NWA contracted talent as of July 2. A contract with Lav, half of rising NWA tag team The Boyz, was announced the following day.

These stars are anticipated to be only the beginning of an ever-growing list of signings by NWA. Talent is anxious to secure their place at NWA 76, the company’s iconic annual celebration of it’s founding in 1948.

This anniversary extravaganza comes to Philadelphia’s iconic 2300 Arena on August 31.All NWA titles are expected to be defended at the company’s biggest Signature Live Event of the year.
