'NWA Powerrr' Celebrates Landmark 200th Episode
On April 8, the National Wrestling Alliance celebrated a major programming milestone. Having launched in October 2018, NWA Powerrr hit 200 episodes.
The NWA’s weekly flagship broadcast first launched on YouTube. In the years since, NWA Powerrr has defined the Lightning One Era of the National Wrestling Alliance.
“This is a huge moment in the modern history of the National Wrestling Alliance,” states Joe Galli, NWA’s Chief Operating Officer.
Each Tuesday, NWA Powerrr highlights the hard-hitting action of pro wrestling’s most legendary brand. Many of wrestling’s biggest names have joined the National Wrestling Alliance’s weekly programming.
“Since the beginning, NWA Powerrr has shined its spotlight on both iconic stars and the fastest-rising talents in pro wrestling today,” says Galli, also the lead broadcaster on the weekly series.
“Over 200 episodes, a who’s who of pro wrestling past, present, and future have been part of Powerrr,” he said. “We are honored that so many greats are now forever part of the NWA’s unprecedented history, legacy, and tradition.”
Legends featured on NWA Powerrr include former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champions Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat and Dory Funk, Jr. Hall of Famers Madusa, The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express, Mickie James, Jim Cornette, and WCW World Champion Scott Steiner have also appeared.
NWA Powerrr has likewise been a breeding ground for modern greatness. Current WWE stars Chelsea Green, Nick Aldis, and Ricky Starks, AEW’s Eddie Kingston, Thunder Rosa, and Brody King, plus Matt Cardona and many more of today’s top stars have called NWA Powerrr home.
NWA Powerrr returned to its original platform of YouTube as a one-off to celebrate its 200th episode. New episodes debut each Tuesday at 6:05 PM EST, streaming worldwide on the National Wrestling Alliance X (formerly Twitter) account.
The NWA’s 2025 Crockett Cup returns to Philadelphia on May 17. NWA’s annual tag team tradition comes to the city’s famed 2300 Arena.
That night, champion Thom Latimer defends the NWA World’s Heavyweight Title against ECW legend and former World’s champion Rhino. On the same card, WWE superstar Natalya makes her NWA in-ring debut. Tickets to the 2025 Crockett Cup are on sale now.
