NWA Chicago crowned its first-ever champion May 2, 2025. “Polish Power” Mario Pardua won The Fred Kohler Invitational to be crowned the inaugural NWA Chicago champion, defeating Steve Boz in the tournament finals.

NWA Chicago is the third territory to officially become part of the National Wrestling Alliance during the Lightning One Era. It is promoted by Bryan Idol, National promoter of the National Wrestling Alliance.
“Polish Power” Mario Pardua is the inaugural NWA Chicago champion. Previously, NWA Chicao live events have twice seen major NWA titles change hands. Alex Taylor won the NWA World Junior Heavyweight title there in June 2024. Months later, Big Mama captured the NWA Women’s TV title.
