'NWA 76' in Philly Sees Fatal Four-Way Match for NWA U.S. Tag Titles

There’s no rest for the wicked! Having just regained the National Wrestling Alliance United States Tag Team titles, Daisy Kill and Talos face potentially insurmountable odds at NWA 76.

Newly-crowned U.S. tag champs Daisy Kill and Talos are headed to Philadelphia. They put their belts on the line in a fatal four-way match August 31 at the 2300 Arena.

“This is an obvious conspiracy against us!” complained Kill, who recently signed an exclusive NWA contract.

“The big man and I just got our championships back, and now the National Wrestling Alliance expects us to defend them against everyone and their brother at NWA 76?” he continued. “Our mentor Vampiro is looking into this right now. It’s some bull!”

On the July 30 episode of NWA flagship Tuesday broadcast NWA Powerrr, Kill and seven-foot-plus giant “The Towering” Talos defeated former champs The Fixers to reclaim the vacated belts in a tournament final. In doing so, they made modern NWA history as the first two-time U.S. tag champs since NWA President William Patrick Corgan revived the legendary titles.

New United States Tag Champ Daisy Kill just signed an exclusive NWA contract. Now partner Talos and he defend the belts in a fatal four-way at NWA 76.

Though historic, the reign could be short-lived. Accompanied by pro wrestling legend Vampiro, the team faces The Fixers, The New Country Gentlemen and The SlimeBallz in four-way action on NWA’s biggest night of the year.

At nearly 800 lbs,, The Fixers — Jay Bradley and Wrecking Ball Legursky — are the largest team in the National Wrestling Alliance. The formidable duo were the first NWA U.S. Tag Champs of the Lightning One Era.

“The Bullhead Brute” AJ Cazana is no stranger to the U.S. tag titles either. Though now teaming with younger brother KC Cazana, their father Joe Cazana led AJ and a different partner (the original Country Gentlemen) in defeating The Fixers for the belts two years ago. .

Only The SlimeBallz are new to the U.S. tag title scene. NWA 76 might provide an opportunity for recent NWA signees Sage Chants and Tommy Rant, youthful dark horses from Slimeball City, to sneak out of Philly with the straps.

This four-way U.S. tag title match further amps excitement for NWA 76. Also announced is the Burke Invitational Gauntlet, which sees ten competitors vying to become No. 1 contender to the NWA Women’s World title. A battle between Crockett Cup champs is also confirmed, as 2024 winners Alex Taylor and Kerry Morton of The Southern Six face Knox & Murdoch, who won the coveted trophy in 2023.
