'NWA 76' Adds Three Huge Matches for Aug. 31 in Philadelphia

NWA 76 in Philadelphia is finally coming together! The National Wrestling Alliance announces three new matches before it heads to the legendary 2300 Arena on Aug. 31 to celebrate its History, Legacy and Tradition with its biggest Signature Live Event of the year.

One of NWA’s most heated tag team rivalries continues as Blunt Force Trauma faces The Immortals in a no-disqualification, anything-goes street fight. The contentious relationship stems from manager Aron Stevens forcing The Immortals to vacate the NWA United States tag team titles for a shot at BFT’s NWA World Tag belts at Hard Times.

Though Odinson and Kratos left Dothan, AL, empty-handed, The Immortals got a measure of revenge by ousting Stevens’ masked monsters from the 2024 Crockett Cup. At NWA 76, the teams meet again in a “Liberty Bell Brawl,” its damage and carnage promising to be a potential show-stealer.

Also announced today, Colby Corino takes on “The Thrillbilly” Silas Mason. A second-generation superstar, Corino looks to again climb the ladder — but former National Champion Silas Mason has other plans.

Mason has been without gold around his waist since “cashing in” the National title to unsuccessfully challenge NWA World’s champion EC3. This match is “Must-Win” for both men, if they want to move back into contention, and NWA 76 provides the biggest stage of the year to do it.

Lastly, Jax Dane and Baron Von Storm confront The Masked Zyon with Austin Idol and “Magic” Jake Dumas. The variables are many in this unusual encounter. Whether Dane can control his unpredictable and disturbed partner — and how “The Magic One” coexists with Austin Idol and his, ahem, potential love child(?!) — will be determined Aug. 31 in Philly.

Though the night’s main event has yet to be announced, much of the card is already known. Previously revealed are high-flyers Jack Cartwheel vs. Alex Misery to determine the No. Contender to the NWA World’s Junior Heavyweight title. Also slated are The King Bees, who defend the NWA Women’s World tag titles against Ella Envy and Miss Starr, The IT Girls.

Additionally, NWA 76 sees a fatal four-way for the U.S. tag titles, the fourth-annual Burke Invitational Gauntlet, and a battle between Crockett Cup champs! It’s official that 2024 winners Alex Taylor and Kerry Morton of The Southern Six square off against Knox & Murdoch, who won the coveted trophy in 2023.

NWA 76 brings hard-hitting pro wrestling action to Philly’s legendary 2300 Arena on August 31. The National Wrestling Alliance commemorates “History, Legacy and Tradition” with its biggest Signature Live Event of the year, an affordable, family-friendly celebration of its founding in 1948.

An opportunity to meet and mingle with NWA stars prior to the event’s start is included free of cost with paid admission. Tickets are on sale now.
