Legendary referee Earl Hebner is coming to The 2025 Crockett Cup!

Hebner joins the National Wrestling Alliance live and in person at the 2300 Arena for an exclusive autograph signing. Presented by Captain’s Corner, purveyor of all things professional wrestling, Hebner is available to greet fans and sign autographs prior to the the event in Philadelphia.

The Hall of Fame legend, whose officiating career spanned four decades, is only the latest star scheduled to appear on May 17 at The 2025 Crockett Cup.

“We are thrilled to welcome Earl Hebner back to the National Wrestling Alliance!” shares Joe Galli, NWA’s Chief Operations Officer.

The 2025 Crockett Cup is, without a doubt, one of the most stacked events in modern NWA history — even without the full card being announced yet,” says Galli. “Adding Earl Hebner, whose ties to the National Wrestling Alliance extend back to the Jim Crockett Promotions era, promises to make May 17 even more special for our great fans throughout the Northeast!”

Over more than 40 years, Hebner’s career as a referee has left an indelible mark on professional wrestling. He returns to the NWA at The 2025 Crockett Cup, offering fans a rare opportunity to meet one of the most recognized figures to ever wear the stripes.

To participate in the Earl Hebner fan interaction, paid admission to The 2025 Crockett Cup is required. Meet-and-greet and autograph signing are available for an additional $25 fee, payable to Captain’s Corner on-site.

Also on hand to engage with fans is trailblazing grappler Gail Kim. A Hall of Famer in her own right, Kim is a multi-time champion who has changed the game in both WWE and TNA Wrestling.

Kim last appeared with the NWA in 2021, as a producer and agent on the acclaimed EMPOWERRR pay-per-view. She will also be present for an autograph signing and fan event prior to The 2025 Crockett Cup. Paid event admission and a separate fee apply.

Hebner and Kim join a growing list of notable names associated with The 2025 Crockett Cup.

Already scheduled for the main event, Thom Latimer defends the NWA World’s Championship against ECW legend Rhino. On the same night, WWE superstar Natalya will step into an NWA ring for the first time.

Coming to the famed “ECW Arena,” May 17 marks the first time the Northeast has hosted NWA’s annual tag team tradition. The 2025 Crockett Cup Tournament showcases the best in tag team wrestling, with pairs vying for the prestigious trophy first introduced in 1986.

As the greats of past, present, and future remain to be announced, The 2025 Crockett Cup continues to shape up as one of the National Wrestling Alliance’s most eagerly anticipated Signature Live Events of the year. Tickets are on sale now.
