Few competitors in the modern National Wrestling Alliance were more decorated than Jax Dane.

By the Lightning One Era, Dane’s resume was already loaded with NWA titles! He claimed the World Tag Team, National, North American, Texas Heavyweight and Smokey Mountain Cup championships. For an impressive 419 days, he reigned as NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion.

After winning the NWA Champions Series, Dane recaptured the National title at the 2022 Crockett Cup. It was his first championship in the modern NWA. His place in “The Dane Event” secure, victory was virtually guaranteed when this powerhouse veteran decided to “Pop the Trunk.”

Behind-the-scenes, Dane was more outspoken about his family than his championship successes. He was a true family man, a devoted husband, step-father and son.

Jax Dane passed away on Dec. 25, 2024, from natural causes. He left an indelible mark on the National Wrestling Alliance.
