Former World Junior Heavyweight Champion; Son of former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino

Colby Corino’s roots run deep in the National Wrestling Alliance — a fact he made abundantly clear when he first arrived. Content to ride the coattails of his legendary father, former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion Steve Corino, his arrogance won him few friends.

After briefly stepping away from the NWA, the second-generation star returned a changed man. Corino’s entitlement was replaced by a newfound drive to earn a place in NWA lore all his own.

At NWA 75, Corino defeated Kerry Morton to capture the NWA World’s Junior Heavyweight title. It was the biggest win of Colby’s career, cementing his name in NWA championship legend next to his father’s. Colby’s reign was ended by Joe Alonzo at NWA Hard Times 2024.
