Welcome to NWA Magazine!

The National Wrestling Alliance has always been about memorable moments. Perhaps the first I recall with ultimate clarity — how apropos given the Crockett Cup focus to follow — was “Ravishing” Rick Rude and “The Raging Bull” Manny Fernandez upsetting NWA World Tag Team champions The Rock ’n Roll Express.

Even now I remember vividly how I felt sitting in front of my TV watching the unexpected title change on what I then believed was live television. Though I must confess Ricky and Robert were far from my favorite tag team — that distinction then and now belongs to The Midnight Express — I never imagined manager Paul Jones’ seemingly make-shift pairing might unseat the most popular duo on the planet.

As a young kid, it was shocking — proving exactly why 6:05pm Saturdays epitomized “must-see TV” for me. Now many years later, I feel the same about NWA POWERRR broadcasts each Tuesdays at 6:05pm EST, free of charge on NWA’s YouTube channel.

We hope you agree! Since its rebirth in the modern era, under the watchful eye of William Patrick Corgan, NWA has gathered an unrivaled collection of talent. Like the members of our NWA Family, every member of our team, whether in front of or behind the cameras, is passionate and driven to remind the world exactly why the National Wrestling Alliance is professional wrestling.

Now we launch NWA Official Wrestling, a periodic e-publication dedicated to the unparalleled talents of the National Wrestling Alliance. Each issue will shine a spotlight on those who give their all to bring you, our fans, the best action, drama and characters in professional wrestling today.

For me, this is very literally a dream come true — covering the company which shaped and cemented my love for professional wrestling. As editor, I promise our readers the kind of mouth-watering, jaw-dropping, moment-making exclusive content, photos and feature articles only the National Wrestling Alliance can offer.
